At Least 6 Injured Including Child Thursday In Syracuse NY Midland Ave Shooting

SYRACUSE, NY. (THECOUNT) — Several people, including a child, were shot on the Syracuse’s south side on Thursday night near Kirk Park.

Syracuse Police say they responded to a call of shots fired in the 1300 block of Midland Avenue. Upon arrival, police say they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the shots came from across the street where the victims were gathered outside.

All injured have been transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries. source

One person may have been shot in the head.

Syracuse Police are still on the scene.

The names and ages of those injured have not yet been released.

Anyone with information on the shooting should contact police at 911.
