COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Justin David Pratt has been identified as the Modern Waste truck driver involved in a Tuesday night Riverside Road crash.
Pratt, 27, was rushed to an area hospital where he passed away this morning for injuries sustained in a crash involving a pickup truck that occurred on Riverside Road in Brooklyn, Columbia Township, MI, officials said in a report.
Pratt of Jackson, was on the driver-side of the truck when he was struck and temporarily pinned between both vehicles.
The driver of the other vehicle, Kenneth Eggleston, 55, cited “blinding sunlight,” as a cause leading to the crash as it impaired his vision.
The two victims inside the F-150 pickup track were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials said on Wednesday morning, the Columbia Township police reported that Justin David succumbed to his injuries sustained in the crash on Riverside Road and died late Tuesday night. source
Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the accident.
