ASHEVILLE, NC. (THECOUNT) — A North Carolina woman says a delivery person didn’t deliver a package to her front porch because a bear had been in the driveway.
News outlets report “Bear in driveway” was written on a UPS receipt that Marcy Lanier posted on Facebook on Friday.
The UPS delivery person had left the note and the package in the Asheville woman’s mailbox instead of leaving the package on the front porch as usual. source
So what’s in the package already? Lanier told local reporters all the excitement, she hasn’t yet gotten the chance to open the package.
She went on to say she sees humor in the receipt and didn’t blame the delivery person for staying safe. The post has been shared more than 2,000 times.
