PA BF Admits Cut GF’s Brake Lines Leading To FATAL Scranton Crash To Use Parts For Crack Pipe

SCRANTON, PA. (THECOUNT) — Police are now saying that John Jenkins, the boyfriend of Scranton woman, Tammy Fox, who was killed in a car crash last week, admitted to intentionally cutting her brake lines because he wanted to use the parts to craft a crack pipe.

Fox, 38, was killed in a crash after her brakes failed causing her to violently strike a tree near North Washington Avenue and Pine Street in Scranton. The Pennsylvania State police deemed the crash a homicide.

Tammy Fox, 38, of Scranton, was killed when her car hit parked cars and then slammed into a tree. The crash happened on August 22 at the intersection of North Washington Avenue and Pine Street in Scranton.

Troopers said Fox’s boyfriend, John Jenkins, 39, of Scranton, admitted to cutting the brake lines the night before because he wanted to use the pipe to smoke crack cocaine. source

Investigators confirmed that the victim’s brake lines were intentionally cut directly leading to the crash.

Jenkins is now charged with criminal homicide and is locked up in Lackawanna County.
