LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) – Kentucky man, Bennie Berry, has been identified as the victim shot and killed as he exited a Louisville church Sunday.
Berry, 43, has been named as the man who died after he was shot leaving Christian Faith Band Tabernacle church, located at, 3228 Greenwood Ave, Louisville, KY 40211, near the Boys & Girls Clubs-Kentuckiana.
Bennie Berry, 43, was shot in the 3200 block of Greenwood Avenue around 1:20 p.m. Sunday, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Wayne Pryse. source
Witnesses said Berry was shot as he left church and was walking to his car.
He was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and a motive is still unknown.
