WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) –Two people have been arrested in the killing of 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson, the girl’s mother told reporters.
D.C. police and Mayor Muriel Bowser plan hold a press conference on Saturday at 2 p.m. They are expected to provide an update on the case.
The identities of those arrested have not yet been released. Police have not confirmed an arrest.
Wilson was only steps from her Northeast Washington home on July 16 when four men jumped out of a car and opened fire into a crowd. source
Four other people, including Wilson’s 18-year-old sister, were shot and wounded.
