DECATUR, GA. (THECOUNT) — Police have identified the victim shot while in a vehicle on Interstate 285 near Flat Shoals Road Thursday morning in DeKalb County has been identified as 41-year-old Mario Washington.
The shooter, who was apparently seated in the backseat of the vehicle, has been named as 29-year-old Cedric Martin.
Washington was a father of 13, family member told local press.
Police said Martin was playing with the gun he recently got when it accidentally fired.
Martin is being charged with involuntary manslaughter.
