LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Samantha Ahearn has been identified by Louisville authorities as the woman discovered suffering from gunshot wounds in a Chickasaw neighborhood Monday night.
The coroner has identified Ahearn, 29, found shot dead near South 36th Street and Grand Avenue around 11:45 p.m.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said the call came in around 11:45 p.m Monday near the intersection of South 36th Street and Grand Avenue. Mitchell said the shooting happened outside a motorcycle club. Mitchell said Ahearn was found shot at the location. A second person — a man — showed up at University Hospital a short time later with gunshot wounds. Mitchell said it’s believed the man was shot at the same location as Ahearn. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. source
Police have not arrested any suspects or announced a motive in the shootings.
