HENRY COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Michael Todd Withrow, of Bassett, has been identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.
Withrow, 44, was operating a 1999 Chevy Blazer on Oak Level Road near Philpott Drive, when he exited the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree before striking a utility pole.
State police are investigating a crash that killed a Bassett man Sunday night. It happened around 10 p.m. on Oak Level Road, close to Philpott Drive in Henry County. The driver, 44-year-old Bassett resident Michael Todd Withrow, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to state police. source
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
