SAN DIEGO, CA. (THECOUNT) — San Diego man, Nicholas Turner, has been identified as the victim mortally stabbed in Balboa Park Saturday.
Turner, 38, was publicly identified as the man fatally stabbed over the weekend in 2700 block of Balboa Drive.
The person who made a call to 911 to report the crime, 47-year-old Damon Deon Crudup, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting the fatal injuries, officials said.
Officers responding to a reported assault in the 2700 block of Balboa Drive, near Redwood Circle, found Nicholas Turner of San Diego suffering from puncture wounds to his upper body about 10 a.m. Saturday, according to police. source
Turner was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Crudup was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of murder. He is being held without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
