ATLANTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Rodrigo Castillo has been identified as the man found shot dead in a vehicle along I-20 in Atlanta Friday.
Police are trying to determine what happened after Castillo, 33, was found shot dead inside a vehicle in Atlanta early Friday morning. Investigators are now looking for a woman they believe the victim had been on a date with that evening.
Police say Castillo may have met the woman using either dating app Bumble or Coffee Meets Bagel.
The man, identified as 33-year-old Rodrigo Castillo, was found inside his vehicle, which was parked in one of the right lanes on the westbound side of the highway near the exit ramp to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. He had been shot in the head and was taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta in critical condition. source
Police say the shooting may possibly be the result of a road rage incident.
The woman may be Colombian, a graduate student from a local college such as Emory University or Georgia State University.
