LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — Lincoln Police have identified Jessica Brandon as the woman killed in a Lincoln, NE, home invasion Tuesday.
Brandon, 36, was killed in the early hours of Tuesday morning after Lincoln Police responded to a call of shots fired at 3:45 a.m. near 19th & Fairfield. Upon arrival, police found a female victim with a gunshot wound.
Brandon was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
“When we got there, her family was attempting to revive her until relieved by a Lincoln Police Officer who began CPR,” said Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister. source
There were two other adults and four children in the home when the shooting happened, but none of them sustained injuries.
Officials say there’s no threat to the immediate area, but the suspects who killed Jessica Brandon are still at large.
