TYLER, TX. (THECOUNT) — The body of a Brownsboro man found in the woods near a Tyler intersection, Tuesday, July 24, has been identified as Gregory Tyrone Jock.
Jock, 50, was named by the Tyler Police Department as the body discovered in some woods near Race Runner #8, located at E. Front Street and SSE Loop 323, according to Tyler police.
Authorities say they do not suspect foul play in the Jock’s death.

On Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:42 p.m., Tyler police were notified that a citizen had found a dead body in the woods behind the Valero Gas Station located at E. Front Street and SSE Loop 323.
Officers located the body and recovered the person’s identification from the body. The deceased is a W/M, age 50. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
The body is in a state of decomposition and investigators did not observe an evident indication of foul-play. The body will be sent off for an autopsy in Dallas to determine the possible cause of death. source
