MCKEESPORT, PA. (THECOUNT) — Lori Mula has been identified as the victim who died following a crash in McKeesport on Thursday night.
Mula, 48, was operating a vehicle when she exited the roadway and struck a utility pole at about 11:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West 5th Avenue, McKeesport, PA.
Officials say, live wires made extracting Mula from the crushed vehicle more complicated for first responders, who has to cut her out of the vehicle after the wires were removed.
Mula was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force injuries that occurred in the violent crash. source
A second person involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries was not released.
