JAMESTOWN, NY. (THECOUNT) — William “Billy” J. Michishima, of Jamestown, NY, has been identified as the man shot Tuesday morning.
Michishima, 30, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital.
He was removed from life support and pronounced dead Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the shooting occurred at 114 Livingston Avenue just before 9am.
The suspect, David Waggoner, was taken into custody at the scene. He is charged with murder in the 2nd degree. source
A motive for the shooting has not been released.
A murder investigation is ongoing.
