STARR, SC. (THECOUNT) — The family of a 24-year-old man who went missing while swimming at Singing Pines on U.S. 29 in Starr, SC, Monday, released his photo in hopes it will aid in the search.
Dive teams and boat crews are searching for, Juber Lemus, 24, who went missing while swimming at Lake Hartwell during a family picnic.
The incident occurred at Singing Pines on Highway 29 in Starr at 8:46 p.m. Monday. Crews are searching for 24-year-old Juber Lemus. Family members say they were enjoying a picnic when Lemus went for a swim. He went under the water and never resurfaced. source
Crews searched overnight for Lemus but did not locate him.
Additional crews are searching as of this morning.
