TX Bayfront Inn Motel Drowning Victim Identified As NY State Man Tony Ambrosini

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Ambrosini, from New York state, has been identified by the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office as the victim in an apparent accidental drowning that happened last Thursday at the swimming pool of the shuttered Bayfront Inn Motel, located at, 601 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX.

“Tony” Ambrosini, 56, appeared to be intoxicated when he fell into the pool while visiting from New York state.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motel owner said it appeared that the man was intoxicated when he fell into the pool. Police do not suspect foul play in the incident. source

The Medical Examiner’s Office said an official determination for the cause of death is pending a toxicology report.
