LIMA, OH. (THECOUNT) — Van Youngblood has been identified as the Monday homicide victim just south of Lima, Ohio.
Youngblood, 65, was discovered suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper torso and neck area after police responded to a 911 placed by Wilma Youngblood, his wife.
Timothy Youngblood, (pictured,) his 31-year-old son, was arrested and charged in his murder.
According to a statement released Tuesday afternoon by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Timothy Youngblood, 311 E. 14th St., Lima, is currently being held at the Allen County jail on a preliminary charge of murder. source
The exact cause of death is still being investigated.
The motive in the fatal stabbing is still being investigated.
