AUGUSTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Justin Foss Sr., the father of a 4-year-old boy who died Saturday after what appears to be an accidental shooting, has been charged, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Justin “Polo” Foss Sr., 27, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the case.

The incident, which happened in the 3100 block of Skinner Mill Road, is being investigated by the sheriff’s office and coroner’s office and additional charges are possible. An autopsy is scheduled for early next week at the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta. source
The child has been identified as Justin Foss Jr., who was pronounced dead at 11:33 a.m. at AU Medical Center, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose Sr.
