HOME, PA. (THECOUNT) — Commodore, Pennsylvania Woman, Melissa Ann Myers, has been named as the victim in a fiery crash at Pikel’s Top Tier, located at, 22 PA-85, Home, PA.
Myers, 52, was killed after a vehicle crashed into the service station that resulted in a large blaze.
State Troopers have charged 33-year-old James Eugene Brown, who has no permanent residence, and 32-year-old Michael A. White of Punxsutawney were in the station wagon that veered off Route 119 and crashed into the gas station, killing 52-year-old Melissa Ann Myers of Commodore who was working in the gas station. source
Brown was identified as the driver of the car. After the crash, White exited the vehicle and fled the scene.
He was eventually apprehended by Punxsutawney Borough Police later in the afternoon.
Police believe Brown was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries and subsequently released.
