ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL. (THECOUNT) — Giuseppe Gazzano of Bloomingdale, IL, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday six-vehicle pileup in Elk Grove Village.
Police say, Gazzano, 44, was killed and 10 others were were injured in a crash that occurred about 10:45 a.m. at S Arlington Heights Rd, and Cosman Rd, in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Gazzano was transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village where he was later pronounced dead late Saturday morning.
Gazzano was pronounced dead at 11:23 a.m. Saturday, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Elk Grove Village Fire Battalion Chief Mark Percudani said the department transported 11 victims to various hospitals. Updates on their conditions were not available Sunday. source
