CHELMSFORD, MA. (THECOUNT) — Gerald Barnes II has been identified as the Lowell man who was involved in a Tuesday evening Chelmsford, MA., crash.
Barnes, 21, died as a result of injuries suffered in a crash after a Honda CBR 600 motorcycle he was operating and an SUV collied on Acton Rd. & High St. Chelmsford, MA 01824, according to the Middlesex District Attorneys Office.

Chelmsford police said via a spokesman that a Honda CBR 600 was heading west on High Street when it collided with a 2010 Mazda SUV that was being driven north on Acton Road by a 41-year-old Chelmsford man. Police initially did not release either driver’s name. source
