NEB Man Shot In Face While Waiting At Omaha Red Light Saturday Night Identified

OMAHA, NE. (THECOUNT) — Decabooter Maurice Flowers has been named as the Nebraska man shot in the face as he was operating a vehicle on an Omaha street.

AKA, “Booda” Flowers, 44, originally of North Carolina, was operating a vehicle near 2200 North 39th Street, Omaha, NE., when he was shot in the upper lip.

Police were called to the area on reports of “shots fired.” Upon arrival, Flowers was located suffering a gunshot wound to the facial area.

He was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to recover from the injury.

Flowers told officers he’d been shot while stopped at the light near 30th and Lake. Flowers was taken to the hospital for treatment. source
