SC Panic After 1-Year-Old Snatched From Mother’s Arms During Walk To Mailbox

A young SC boy was forcible taken from his mother in Chesterfield CountyTuesday afternoon and now police are conducting a frantic search for the missing child.

The mother told police she was walking to her mailbox with her child underwing when a man pulled up, attacked her, took her child and fled the scene. The woman, who said she did not know the attacker, described him as a caucasian male, wearing a turban, a black coat and a single black glove.

According to the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, a woman was walking to her mailbox carrying her 1-year-old son. She told authorities a man in an SUV pulled up, jumped out of his vehicle, attacked her and took her son and fled the scene. source

The suspect was also described as of having a lanky build with a beard, according to deputies. The woman said she had never met the suspect before.
