Bethany Martin has been identified as the 3-year-old girl who died in the hospital Friday night after being run over by a tractor while on a farming property in Goshen, IN., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say the accident happened around 7 p.m. near 65000 County Road 11, Goshen, Elkhart County, IN. The little girl was run over while the tractor was being hooked up to another piece of machinery, reports indicated.
Martin was transported via LifeFlight to a South Bend area hospital where she was pronounced dead just before midnight.
No further details on the tragic accident have been released.
