The body recovered Wednesday from the Mississippi River near the Credit Island causeway has been identified as Timothy Maxwell of Bettendorf, Iowa.
Maxwell, 60, was the subject of an autopsy conducted today after going missing while visiting the Davenport Sailing Club before 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Davenport Fire District Chief Neil Gainey said at the time the probability was high that the subject fell in the Mississippi River. source
No foul play is suspected.
No further information will be released and the case is considered closed.
