Lonnie Sewell, has been identified as the Midland, Texas, man killed while traveling on West County Road 130 around 9:17 p.m. Thursday night.
According to DPS, troopers responded to a call of a two-vehicle crash on West County Road 130. Upon arrival, officials say they found a crash involving a Polaris Razor ATV and a Chevrolet SUV.
A preliminary investigation of the crash revealed that the SUV was driving west on West County Road 130 as Sewell was leaving a private drive onto 130. DPS says that Sewell failed to yield the right of way and was hit by the SUV. source
Sewell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured in the fatal incident.
The crash report states that Sewell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.
