New York State Police have named Anthony “Tony” Gawlinski as the construction worker killed in a skid-steer accident on a private property located at 741 Hawleyton Rd Binghamton, NY.
Troopers responded to a private residence on reports of a fatal accident involving a person and a piece of construction equipment. Once on-scene, officers determined Gawlinski, 56, had died in the tragic accident.
Troopers were called to 741 Hawleyton Road Tuesday for a report of a fatal accident involving a skid-steer piece of construction equipment, being operated on private property, according to state police. Police say the man who died was 56-year-old Anthony Gawlinski. source
According to troopers, an autopsy will be performed at Wilson Hospital on Wednesday.
When not working at private construction sites, Gawlinski was also employed as a highway maintenance worker at New York State DOT.
