Police are investigating the mysterious Wednesday morning death of Nederland, TX, resident, Michael Odell Legg.
Legg, 40, was found in his residence deceased after police responded to reports of prowlers in the Beauxart Gardens neighborhood. The caller, which lives near Legg, called police to report a group of men she observed on her doorbell video camera.
After police arrived they found an open front door at a home near the caller.
Once inside that residence, located in the 8100 block of Beauxart Gardens Road, police discovered Legg lifeless, according to Nederland Assistant Police Chief Gary Porter.

Legg was found in the living room of his home with no obvious signs of trauma. Police say they did not observe any gunshot or stab wounds.
Police are treating his death as suspicious.
