A Haywood County Sheriff’s Office representative identified a Camp Daniel Boone ranger killed Monday in an ATV wreck as Michael Nelson.
Boone, 57, was confirmed as the victim of the crash. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
On Monday, April 23, 2018 at approximately 11 a.m., the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies responded to a call regarding an ATV wreck at Camp Daniel Boone in Canton. Upon arrival, responders discovered Camp Daniel Boone ranger Michael Nelson, 57, had been killed. source
