The 19-year-old girl killed in a Thursday car crash has been identified as Samara D’Arco, according to Charleston Police. The crash occurred in the 3600 block of 7th Avenue in Charleston just after 2 p.m.
D’Arco, aka, Samara Nicole, was a young mom and student who was close to getting her high school diploma and career center certification when she was tragically killed in a car crash, school officials confirmed.
D’Arco, of South Charleston, died in the two-vehicle accident Thursday. Officials with Kanawha County Schools say D’Arco went to South Charleston High School and was also a full-time student at the Ben Franklin Career Center. source
Two teens, both 16, in the other vehicle were hurt in the crash and taken to a hospital. Their names are not being released.
D’Arco had a small infant at home according to police.
