The Nye County, Nevada Sheriff’s Office says popular radio host Art Bell has died.
The Sheriff’s Office says Arthur William Bell passed away Friday at his home in Pahrump, Nevada. He was 72.
Bell was host of the paranormal-based radio program “Coast to Coast AM.” The program is syndicated to over 600 stations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Guam, including 1470 and 100.3 WMBD. Bell retired as full-time host in 2003, replaced by George Noory.
A program of classic Art Bell shows, “Somewhere in Time” is heard on radio nationwide.
