Bossier Parish sheriff’s deputies say they have located two bodies in the Red River today.
Officials are currently searching the area for a missing man and a woman whose car was found on a Red River bridge two weeks ago.
The bodies were not immediately identified and there was no confirmation they were Jennifer Wilson, 53, and her son, Coty, 31, both of Cottage Grove Road.
Ms. Wilson’s car was found abandoned on the Louisiana Highway 2 bridge with a “goodbye note” inside. Her husband, Gary Wilson — Coty’s father — is jailed on eight charges, including arson, insurance fraud and racketeering. His bond is set at $825,000. source
Coty Wilson was charged as an accessory. He was free on bond when he and his mother disappeared earlier this month.
The coroner’s office is en route to a location just north of Bossier City to begin the process of identifying the bodies.
