According to police, the suspect, James Davis Jr. was seen and reported by an individual on a train passing through the north end of campus shortly after midnight on Saturday. Law enforcement personnel responded and arrested the suspect without incident. The 19-year-old suspect, Eric Davis Jr., fatally shot both of his parents, Mt. Pleasant police have confirmed. Police are still actively searching for Davis at this time.
The fatal shooting occurred on the Central Michigan University campus in Mount Pleasant this morning, according to reports.
