TheCount.com has obtained the mugshot of a man arrested after a stabbing two people, one fatally, at the Winchester Public Library.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday after Jeffrey Yao, 24, stabbed and killed a 22-year-old woman.
A 77-year-old man who intervened was also stabbed. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police are trying to determine Yao’s relation to the victim, if any.
The district attorney’s office said patrons held the suspect down until police arrived.source
Yao is expected to be arraigned in court Monday on murder charges.
