Former Jayhawks basketball player, Brannen Greene, was arrested Saturday for distribution of drugs in Wabaunsee County after being pulled over for speeding.
Greene, 23, was operating a vehicle east on I-70 when he was ordered to pull over for speeding. The incident occurred at mile marker 322 at 8:50 p.m., according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Greene was arrested for speeding, expired registration, driving without a valid license, and distribution of marijuana, according to KHP. He was taken to the Wabaunsee County Jail. source
The 6-foot-7 guard played in 93 games for the Jayhawks from 2013-2016. He averaged 4.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.
