The body of missing DC woman, Joni Rockingham, may have been located in the driveway of a Northeast Washington home Tuesday.
Police have not positively confirmed the identity of the woman found this morning, however, sources say, it is believed to be that of Rockingham, 53.
Rockingham was reported missing last month, police say.
Someone found the woman’s body just after 8:30 a.m. in the driveway of an unoccupied home on the 300 block of 34th Street NE.
D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham says the woman’s death is being called suspicious at this time.
Investigators confirmed the possibility of the victim being the woman who was reported missing the day after Thanksgiving.
