Gregory Karasick, the Dan Vaden Chevrolet Cadillac General Sales Manager who was reported missing after being last seen exiting a business near his place of work on Abercorn Street late Friday evening, was found killed in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.
The Traffic Investigation Unit determined that Karasick, 39, who was reported as missing on Saturday night, was the sole victim of the fatal I-516 crash.
Police believe that Karasick was on his way home on Friday evening when his vehicle exited the roadway while he was traveling along the exit ramp from I-516 to I-16. The automobile came to rest in a ravine. It was initially reported about a vehicle crash on Saturday evening that closed northbound I-516 at I-16.
It was since learned that Saturday’s road closure on I-516 was the result of officers searching for Karasick when they discovered his vehicle. source
