Police are investigating a shooting and crash in front of Istrouma High’s football field that left a Baton Rouge woman, Andretta Selders, dead early Tuesday morning.
Selders, 38, aka, Andretta Charnese Selders-Fields, was driving on Winbourne Avenue near Delaware Street just before 5 a.m. when someone shot her. That caused her to crash her vehicle, said The Baton Rouge Police Department.
Sgt. L’Jean McNeely said the victim was dead when officers arrived to investigate.
Detectives have not given any information about a suspect.
