Police are conducting a “violent death investigation” after Boiling Springs, SC., senior, Boyce W Pye, was found dead in his home on Sunday.
According to Spartanburg County Coroner Charles Clevenger, his office responded around 7:04 a.m. to a residence on Toll Road in Boiling Springs with investigators.
After arriving, Clevenger said they found Pye, 67, deceased with extensive blunt force injuries on his bedroom floor.
Pye was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
