Police have arrested a couple in the partial decapitation of a man in East Nashville. On Friday morning, Metro police announced they had arrested Lewis Shuler, 31, and Tiffany Biggs, 25, in connection to the crime.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a resident found Tremayne Cross lying next to a dumpster on the 400 block of South 4th Street around 1:45 a.m. Thursday with a severe neck laceration. He was bleeding profusely.
Cross, 45, was taken to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died during surgery.
