Comedian Kathy Griffin was scheduled to perform at the Sunset Center in Carmel in October. But that’s today, and a lot can change in a day, much less several months.
After the recent controversial photo of Griffin holding a bloody head resembling President Donald Trump, the Sunset Center released this statement on its social media page:
” Sunset Center does not endorse or condone the actions of performers scheduled in our theater. We apologize for any angst this has caused any of our patrons or supporters. We are in contact with Ms. Griffin’s representatives and hope to have additional information soon.” h/t
Tickets for other shows are available for purchase on the Sunset Center’s website, but tickets for Griffin’s Central Coast show are not.
