Kansas City police say Toni Anderson‘s cause of death has been determined. One of the factors in the young girl’s death is listed as “ethanol,” a colorless volatile flammable liquid. Ethanol is usually mixed with gasoline for use in in some fuel efficient vehicles.
“The cause of death is hypothermia and drowning, the manner of death is accidental and the contributing factors are ethanol, cocaine and amphetamine intoxication,” police said Tuesday in a news release.
Anderson’s black Ford Focus was pulled from the Missouri River in Parkville, Missouri. Anderson was located dead inside the submerged vehicle.
Authorities said the case is now closed.
