Former Journey singer, the legendary Steve Perry, will be attending the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, and will reportedly take the stage to join the band to sing at least one of the their classic tunes tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York at 7pm.
Sources close to the band say, Journey will play three songs during the ceremony, Lights, Separate Ways, and Don’t Stop Believin. Perry, 68, will sing at least one of those songs and possibly more.
Perry has kept quiet for years since his departure from the band in 1988. He hasn’t even kept his singing up all that often, so now that we hear that he will reunite with his band tonight, this is sure to be a CAN’T miss event! We’ll have more coverage as this develops! h/t societyofrock
Other inductees include Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, Yes, ELO, Joan Baez and Nile Rodgers.
