Who Is Samantha Lee? And Does This Social Worker Really Have A SUPER FAMOUS New Husband?

Samantha Lee, Tyrese Gibson’s new wife, is making news today after being dubbed “a real-life hero.” Lee, a social worker, reportedly fights for children’s rights while also being an advocate for human trafficking victims.

Lee appeared in a TMZ story that surfaced one day after Gibson made the surprise marriage announcement on Facebook. The couple got hitched in a private ceremony on Valentine’s Day.

Lee is a native of New Jersey and the couple is said to have met through mutual friends, so says the TMZ report. She also goes by the name Samantha Schwalenberg.

TMZ reports that Lee “lives comfortably on a hefty salary.” The site adds that Lee handles “cases for the Division of Family and Children Services” in Georgia. According to her LinkedIn page, Lee is the “night/weekend” advocate for Project Safe Inc. Her role includes, “Crisis Intervention, Hotline, Shelter Operations, Case Management, Documentation.” Lee got her Master’s in social work from the University of Georgia. She first graduated from the school with degree in psychology in 2012. h/t heavy

Lee’s Linkedin page lists her full name as “Samantha Schwalenberg.” A LMSW Case Manager at More Than Conquerors, Inc. Lee also worked for AMC Theatres, Gwinnett County Detention Center, Hall County Department of Family and Children Services, Project Safe, Inc. It lists she completed her education at University of Georgia.
