Southeast Washington DC was the scene of a deadly shooting that took the lives of 2 people and wounded six others.

Eight people were shot. Two victims were dead on the scene. Six others, including an 8-year-old boy, have been taken to the hospital with injuries. Two victims were transported by D.C.
