Billy Paul, who sang the Grammy award-winning song “Me and Mrs. Jones,” died Sunday morning. He was 81.
Paul’s manager confirmed the singer passed away at his home in Blackwood, New Jersey. He had been fighting cancer. No other further details were available.
Paul was “hospitalized last week at Temple University Hospital” according to a published report.
