Sarah Palin, to the staring line of the Iron Dog snowmobile race before he starts the race in Big Lake, Alaska. To people in this hard-scrabble region tucked between two soaring mountain ranges, Gov. Sarah Palin is a working-class heroine. As the Republican vice presidential candidate's star rises nationally, she's increasingly held up as the model for life in the Last Frontier. Sarah Palin revealed the extent of her husband Todd injuries after he was involved in a near-fatal snowmobile accident in Alaska.
Todd Palin was admitted into a hospital’s intensive care unit over the weekend suffering multiple injuries including broken and fractured ribs and other bones, knee and leg injuries, and a collapsed lung.
Sarah Palin posted an update to her Facebook to let everyone know exactly what’s happening. The post was accompanied by a smiling picture of her 51-year-old spouse saying, “Todd Palin is in intensive care at an Alaskan hospital with injuries including multiple broken and fractured ribs, broken shoulder blade, broken clavicle, knee/leg injuries; and a collapsed lung. He is presently back in surgery to repair multiple fractures. Thank you for your prayers for a speedy recovery.” Of courses, back surgery is extremely risky but Palin seems to be fairly optimistic about his recovery making jokes about it towards the end of the post.
“Knowing Todd, once he’s cognizant, he’ll probably ask docs to duct tape him up and he’ll call it good. He’s tough.”
