Good Day LA Host Jillian Barberie Bit On Face By Dog

Jillian Barberie, who is a former commentator for NFL on FOX, was injured after a friend’s dog bit her on the face causing a large laceration that required 10 stitches.

Barberie, who is perhaps most famous for her stint on, Good Day LA, was bit on the mouth while playing with a friend’s Cocker Spaniel in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It all went down Saturday night … Barberie — a big time dog lover — was playing with her friend’s pooch … when it snapped and chewed down on her face. Barberie went straight to the hospital and dialed up a plastic surgeon — who sewed her up with 10 stitches around 4 AM Sunday morning. “Already healing nicely,” Barberie said … “Stitches coming out Friday.” As for the dog, Barberie says no hard feelings … and noted that the owners even sent her flowers. h/t tmz

Barberie said that she is not planning on suing the dog’s owners.
