For all the fans hoping that hard-rocking Tool would be touring or making new music anytime soon, stop holding your breath, because frontman, Maynard James Keenan, thinks you’re all “retards.”
This weekend, the members of Tool will be performing at the Monster Mash Music Festival in Tempe, Arizona, but Keenan says the only reason that is happening, is because the rest of the band “con me into.”
When asked about if any humor was hidden in Tool’s albums, Keenan responded, “Yeah, it’s there, but people miss it because they’re so focused on the other bulls**t.” He added, “It’s lost. Insufferable people … It’s just ridiculous, retards. I’m sorry. Can’t help them.” h/t consequenceofsound
Keenan went on to avoid talking music and instead spoke extensively about his wine business.
